Third party insurance ONLY covers other people and their property should you be involved in an accident which is your fault.

Third Party Insurance

Cheap Car Insurance

It is the most basic car insurance coverage you can purchase. The third party only policy simply covers
damage to a third party. This means if you are involved in an accident, your policy willONLY cover the damage to the other car and any injury sustained by persons in the other car. The amount covered is usually stated in the policy terms. No claim can be made by you for injury to yourself or damage to your car. Do not forget that if your car is stolen you cannot claim for any losses so you really need to be sure that Third Party insurance is suited to you.

Useful tips:

  • A cheap alternative to comprehensive policies
  • Make a note to check each policy carefully as some policies actually cover legal fees in the event of a claim.
  • Some policies allow the insured driver to drive other cars on a third party basis
  • If you love your car more than your wife, do not choose this type of policy
  • If you value your life, this type of policy will not.
